The founder of Tigogreen, Tanja Hohenester, conducted an insightful interview with two experts from the Academy of Naturopathy (AKN): Anna Hartmann and Aylin Moser. Both lecturers shared their extensive expertise and enthusiasm for holistic health, particularly in relation to gynaecology. Anna Hartmann is a nutritionist and Education Development Manager at the Academy of Naturopathy. With her deep roots in nutritional science and her love of naturopathy, she brings a unique perspective to her work. In the interview, Anna emphasised the importance of a holistic approach to health.
In her opinion, it is not enough just to "eat healthily". Exercise, stress management and general mental well-being are just as important. This comprehensive approach is central to AKN's philosophy.

In the interview, Aylin emphasised that women are biologically different from men and therefore need to be treated differently in healthcare. Aylin is also very active on social media, where she shares her insights and tips on women's health. She sees it as her mission to bring holistic knowledge and education to the world and thus build a bridge between conventional medicine and naturopathy.
AKN: Training programmes and their special features
The Academy of Naturopathy offers various specialised training programmes, including
- Nutritional counselling: AKN's oldest and broadest training programme. Here, students learn in detail about a Holistic nutrition and its effects on health.
- Holistic women's healthThis course lasts around nine months and covers topics such as female anatomy, hormones and nutrition, mental health and specific gynaecological diseases such as endometriosis, PCOS and fibroids. An important part of the training is to give women the tools they need to manage their own health.
- Mental healthThis is the AKN's latest training programme and covers the holistic approach to mental health, which includes nutrition as well as Psychological aspects such as stress management and mental well-being includes.
All AKN training programmes are designed in such a way that they can be completed flexibly online. This is particularly advantageous for working people and mothers who want to integrate their further education into their everyday lives. The standard period of study is around nine months, but can vary depending on the individual situation.
