So this matcha green tea smoothie contains all the benefits of a regular green tea smoothie with the added green tea flavour and of course all the good antioxidants that green tea contains.
Ingredients:

- 2 Frozen bananas
- 2 Large handfuls of baby spinach
- 2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder

More Energy with Peach Green Tea Smoothie
To keep the morning freshness going for a long time, blogger Kristy from Keepin' It Kind adds matcha powder to this summery mix. She also adds lots of leafy greens and fruits, as well as hemp seeds and buckwheat groats (also called buckwheat grains), which provide a filling combination of high protein and fibre.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 to 3 handfuls of leafy greens
- 1 1/2 cups frozen mango
- 1 1/2 cups frozen peach slices
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon buckwheat groats
- 1 tablespoon maca powder
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Instead of mango, you could use 1 1/2 (preferably frozen) bananas.
