The centre of the body: the female womb area
Before we delve deeper into the role of the uterus, Violeta reminds us of the localisation of the uterus. It is fascinating: from a purely anatomical point of view, the female womb is located exactly in the centre of a woman's body. It represents a centre for us in a subtle and conscious way.
Hormonal centre of life and seat of creative power
On the one hand, the main task of hormonal life is centred in the womb. This is the centre where everything that happens in our female body takes place. However, another aspect of the womb is particularly important, which not everyone is aware of in a time of doing and not doing. According to Violeta, the womb is the place where our creative power bubbles up.
"The womb is the seat of unbridled nature and the source of bubbling life force. This power is available to us at all times. A connection with the womb space does more than we initially realise."
Connection with the womb space - Violeta's story
Many years ago, Violeta had a motorbike accident that "completely cut off her life from the navel down, including her abdomen." She had to learn to move all over again and relearn the basics of vital bodily functions.
"I no longer felt when I had to go to the toilet (big or small), when I had to go to the toilet (big or small), when I had to go to the toilet and when I had to go to the toilet.period comes, not to mention sexual desire. I no longer had any connection to the survival functions."
For Violeta it was clear: it couldn't have been that. She didn't know what the Lap space connection means that this only came from the new experience after the accident. Because after the accident there was nothing left at all. She was not even 40 years old at the time, bubbling with life, and from one day to the next everything was different. She wanted to go to the toilet with dignity again and, driven by curiosity and unbridled lust, decided to get her primal power back:
"I'm going to use my re-establish a connection to my womb space, to this primal force, so that I can regain my quality of life." She laughs: "I didn't even realise what this would set in motion."
The lap room as a compass
The desire to simply go to the toilet gracefully and on time has become much more. For Violeta, the lap room has become a compass:
- for mental strength,
- for the emotional world,
- for decisions
- for creativity.
Again and again, the centre of the lap room is the place from which Violeta draws her strength and creativity.
"This power is always there, in all women. It was new and surprising for me at the time."
Hysterectomy - What should be included in the decision?
Many women are faced with the decision to have their uterus removed - whether due to fibroids, tumours or other reasons. What needs to be considered and weighed up?
The uterus: creating, carrying and bringing forth life
What the uterus is not: simply a "thing" that has to function when we have to go to the toilet, menstruate or attend antenatal classes. According to Violeta, the uterus is a fascinating "machine" that is designed to do just that,
- to create life,
- to carry life within you and
- to bring life into the world.
"Conception takes place in the womb, the child grows there and from the womb it is given back into the world."
We women have been given the ability to do all this, but we don't have to. Every woman has the autonomy to decide freely about her uterus. How we decide whether to bear children or menstruate, whether to remove the uterus or not, is individual. Every woman should go her own way. Self-empowerment is at the centre of this. Violeta is observing a trend here:
"The moment a woman begins to engage with the function and higher nature of her womb space, the better she is supported in her healing process."
This does not mean that a woman can remove a tumour through meditation. It means that engaging with the womb space creates a connection that makes her a more conscious and autonomous decision helps.
Empowerment is the key to our well-being
It makes a massive difference whether I say "I'm having my uterus removed" or "My uterus is being removed because xy wants it removed". says". In the first sentence, I made the decision on my own authority; in the second sentence, I let myself be determined by others.
The removal of the uterus is an irreversible process that the woman should be able to cope with, no matter what she decides. Sometimes it is important that the uterus is removed as a precautionary measure, sometimes there are alternatives to keeping it. It is important that the decision is made holistically and independently.
Create awareness of your own well-being
It is important that we connect with what is important and create awareness for our own well-being. "This starts with an awareness of the phases of your own menstrual cycle. In this way, every woman can orientate herself to the nature of her cycle and use her energy accordingly."
For example, do I work even though I'm not feeling well and my period is crying out for me to take a day off? Do I put my employer's well-being before my own?
Violeta withdrew from this system years ago. However, she emphasises that this is not synonymous with doing nothing or doing less.
"I now simply work closer to nature. By that I don't mean hugging trees. I work closer to MY OWN NATURE."
Honour your body as it is
If your body signals tiredness, for example because of a long journey, this is not a weakness, but a reason to honour it. You don't have to go to yoga early in the morning if your body is still in night mode because it has flown through 8 time zones. "You can arrive first."
Sometimes we fall into the traps of everyday life, we all know it: lots of computer hours, tax returns, getting the article ready for submission. We forget to drink, exercise or go to the toilet for two or three hours. Yet we need this care.
Just as we take care of our shoulders, face or fingernails, it is also important to honour and care for the health of the womb area.
(Re)find your feminine energy - how?
1. ask questions:
- Do I understand my cycle?
- Do I take care of my lap space problems or do I overlook them? These include incontinence, pelvic floor weakness, pain, problems with sexuality, inability to orgasm, etc.
- Do I consider these topics and do I train myself?
